Victor S. Brigola is an independent international photographer with more than 20 years of experience. Professional assignments and personal projects have lead him all over the world, through Europe, the United States, Asia, northern Africa, New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates.

His impressive list of references encompass major corporations, architecture firms, and creative agencies, as well as numerous magazines and publications.  Victor’s clients include Daimler/Mercedes Benz, Hugo Boss, Adidas, Ernst & Young, IBM, Audi, Porsche, Zumtobel Lighting and Rosenthal to name just a few.  His work has appeared in editorials and advertisements in major publications including Wallpaper, Frame, Architektur und Wohnen, AIT, Häuser, Die Zeit, National Geographic and many others.

For more than ten years Victor has been a member of the BFF, Germany’s professional association for freelance photographers and one of the most renowned associations of it’s kind in Europe. Membership is selectively granted by a jury assessment process. Victor’s photography has been featured in numerous exhibitions. His non-commercial work was honored with the 2007 Trend Award, chosen by a BFF jury comprising curators, gallery owners, designers, picture editors and professors of photography.

Victor’s outstanding photographic work is strongly focused on architecture and environments, including buildings, interiors, trade show exhibits and other temporary architecture. He also photographs products and people.  Whatever the subject, his work revolves around the interaction and relationship between people or things in and around space.  Moreover, Victor captures images that engage us, and that deliver powerful composition with a strong sense of design.

For many years he has been working with digital large format cameras, and In recent years has begun working with moving image as well.  In addition to motion clips created from large numbers of still shots and several short films he’s made, in the summer of 2012 Victor released his first documentary film about an archaeological excavation in Bulgaria.

Victor started his career with a three year work/study apprenticeship at AV Communication in the 1990’s, one of Germany’s leading agencies. The experience not only provided him with the necessary skills to become a successful photographer, but exposed him to the professional practices and methods of the design and communications industry.

After living in Berlin for five years, Victor has returned to his hometown of Stuttgart, where he enjoys the proximity to the alps and his Austrian roots.  He speaks fluent German, English and French.
