Bringing the concept of instant, walk-in healthcare to Germany is the goal of MinuteDoc. The design is an eye-catcher in a busy public space — conceived for the exciting new Berlin Central Station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof), Europe’s largest and most modern long distance train station. The strategy was to balance the need to appear clinical and professional with the desire to communicate a new and exciting way to access healthcare for busy professionals. A dynamic, distinctive wooden ribbed screen with and integrated reception desk separates the treatment rooms from the waiting area lounge. Bright friendly lighting, organic forms, and a mixture of white and natural wood finishes complete the look. The Fundamental Group Architecture. symbologie. members Gunnar Rönsch, Stephen Molloy
